Unlike other extensions, this plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify captures and insert text and graphical annotations. Such functionality will be especially useful for web designers, testers and content reviewers. It has a very cool editor that allows (well, is supposed to...) arrows, text boxes, even drawing - all under user control. Hope I get my image uploader back. Rats.

fireshot
The promise is fabulous but I'm having trouble realizing to my little site here. I downloaded a capture of this blog to my photo editor/viewer but it didn't show up in the way I cropped it. I was going to show how unusable it is, but now it won't upload...,in fact, the image upload button on my blogger editor seems to be disabled!

Presidential Campaign Websites
Today is youngest child's 21st birthday, I took this week off, and it's freezing outside, so I have WAY too much time on my hands!
From several perspectives, the look of a serious candidate's homepage is interesting. These pages represent, one has to assume, the state of the art in online marketing and dissemination of information in the "information age." What strikes you about any page in particular? Does one seem warmer or more informative than others? If someone ends up at a particular political website, should the site expect them to be friendly? Curious? Decided? A Contributor? As with all links I provide, these will open in another tab. While visiting your favorite, you can sign up for emails or drop in a few dollars.
My google search was "president campaign homepage" - interestingly, the first listing was Kuchinich's congressional page! Why would google do that to us?? Skipping that one, presenting the order as they appeared... Some have already dropped out, others should, or will soon. I included one spoof site and skipped a couple others.
Enjoy!

DSL Speed Test
Lady Esspresso and I have been having some trouble with our SBC Yahoo DSL service. She called and asked for help, and they sent a very likable technician. He did find a bad cable to the modem from one of our two office computers, and that sped things up very nicely until a few hours after he left. Unfortunately, that's the way it's been going for us for a while...fast then slow then still slower then fast again.
The best thing we got out of the kind and competent man's visit was the knowledge that there are websites that can measure the speed of our connection. He had me Google "dsl speed test" and pick out "Speakeasy Speed Test" from the google of available sites. So now we have an answer to the question......"Is it just me or is this thing slower than Vermont maple syrup in January?
